Description

I purchased a SkyWatcher EvoStar 100ED refractor in order to have a lightweight refractor with a longer focal length than my other refractors.  Once I complete testing of the 100ED on my Paramount MX+ mount, I will begin using it on my portable Celestron AVX mount.

This first light image is of the Cirrus East Nebula captured in Hydrogen-alpha with a Starlight Xpress Trius 694 CCD camera and a 3nm AstroDon Hydrogen-alpha filter.
